Soulja Boy Tops Charts For Fifth Week

Teen rapper Soulja Boy began a fifth non-consecutive week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart on Thursday, followed by Kanye West and Britney Spears.

His snap anthem, “Crank That (Soulja Boy),” beat out Kanye’s “Stronger” and Britney’s “Gimmie More,” which came in at spots 2 and 3 respectively.

Meanwhile Soulja Boy’s latest tune, “Soulja Girl” featuring R&B singer I-15, opened at No. 72 on the Hot 100 chart.

Other songs on the singles chart include Timbaland’s “Apologize” (#4), Kanye’s “Good Life” (#10), and Alicia Keys’ “No One” (#8).
